Architectural Control within Sunset Acres
All property within Sunset Acres is governed by Bylaws and the Declaration of Protective Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&Rs), pursuant to the laws of the State of Washington. We believe the CC&R’s help ensure established standards are met, maintain property values, and keep peace within our community. Here is a link to an unofficial copy of the Sunset Acres CC&Rs.
Property Improvements
Please note that if you wish to make improvements, such as build a structure, outbuilding, fence, etc., your plans may need to be approved by the Architecture and Control Committee prior to construction. Please review your CC&Rs for items that may need to be approved prior to construction. If you are unsure, email the ACC members via this website.
ACC Submission Process
To submit an item to the ACC for approval, please email your plans including structure diagrams and placement description to the SAHOA Board. Please allow 1-2 weeks for review of your documents. You will receive written feedback regarding approval or whether further information is necessary. If you are unable to email your information, please bring a copy of the above information to an ACC director for review as listed on the Board of Directors page.
